Ron King

Ron has been a member of Christ Church since he moved here in 1966. The Rev. George Meades, the incumbent at that time, invited him to become a lay reader in 1968 and he has served the parish since then. Bishop Douglas Blackwell appointed Ron as Lay Pastoral Assistant in the parish with particular responsibilities for St. Luke's, Burnt River. Since then he has taken the services regularly at Burnt River. As a member of the ministry team, Ron has been involved as a planner and leader at the annual summer program The Lay Academy.
